The daughter of two English teachers, Ann learned grammar by ear and went on to become an ace editor and award-winning language educator. Along the way, she became fluent in French and Russian after studying at the Sorbonne in Paris and the Pushkin Institute in Moscow. Ann's résumé includes positions as an editor at Macmillan Publishers and the in-house French translator for Cosmair, Inc., the parent company of L’Oréal-Lancôme.
After many years of ghostwriting and ghost-editing for numerous organizations, Ann is now offering her expert wordsmithery to both individuals and businesses.
With a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from Teachers College, Columbia University, Ann is also a veteran instructor of both Business English and English as a Second Language. Ann is a natural teacher who loves nothing more than helping her students become confident and successful communicators, whether in a new language or their native English.
